Closest to Disney and Universal, widest choice of homes, most to do without driving far. You pay a little more for the convenience.
Kissimmee
The classic Disney-area choice. Resort communities with serious amenities, more square footage per dollar, still minutes from the parks.
Davenport
Further out, noticeably better value, larger villas and quieter streets. Best if you are happy to drive 20–25 minutes.
Port Canaveral
For cruises, Cocoa Beach and Kennedy Space Center. A completely different Florida from the parks.
Miami
City and beach. Nightlife, food, art. Not a theme-park holiday.
Palm Beach
Quieter coast, golf, and the kind of week where nobody sets an alarm.
